Buy Diflucan (fluconazole) 150mg/200mg over the counter

What is Diflucan?

Diflucan is a prescription medication used to fight the symptoms of infections caused by fungi. The main active ingredient in Diflucan is fluconazole which is related to other triazole antifungals, such as ketoconazole (Nizoral), miconazole (Micatin), clotrimazole (Lotrimin), and itraconazole (Sporanox). Diflucan is available as both a tablet and a liquid solution.

Fluconazole prevents the growth of fungi by inhibiting the production of membranes that surround fungal cells. It is very effective against Candida fungal infections affecting the oral cavity, throat, lungs, blood, and the genitals. Vaginal thrush, an infection caused by an overgrowth of the yeast Candida albicans, is an example of a common infection easily treated with fluconazole. Diflucan may also be used as a means of preventing fungal infections in patients whose immune system is compromised due to bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy, and such diseases as HIV/AIDS. Since their immune system is unable to fight infectious microorganisms, such patients are prone to internal fungal infections, and prophylaxis using antifungal medications, such as Diflucan, is frequently required because of the serious dangers associated with these kinds of infections. Diflucan is also commonly used to treat pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and peritonitis caused by Candida albicans. Additionally, this medication is also effective against cryptococcal meningitis.

Diflucan is more effective when the concentration of the drug in the body remains the same during the entire treatment. For this reason, patients are recommended to take it around the same time every day. Diflucan is usually taken once a day. Its effect is not compromised by the intake of food, so it can be taken both before and after meals. While certain infections, such as vaginal thrush, usually subside after a single 150 mg dose, other infections may require a longer treatment, sometimes lasting up to several weeks. Diflucan is safe for use both in adults and children. It is important to continue taking Diflucan for the entire course of the treatment, even if you’re no longer experiencing any symptoms – this will keep the infection from recurring.

Diflucan is manufactured by Pfizer Limited. One can find it in two strengths – 150 mg and 200 mg, both available as hard capsules. The 150 mg hard capsules are blue with a turquoise cap with “Pfizer” and “FLU-150” printed on them. The 200 mg hard capsules are white with a purple cap and have “Pfizer” and “FLU-200” printed on them. The recommended strength of the medication will depend on the individual patient as well as the infection being treated. In most cases, Diflucan is prescribed by a healthcare provider, although many pharmacies sell it with no RX required. Alternative brand names that fluconazole is marketed under include Canesten Oral, Flucoral, Lucon, Fluconazole Actavis and Azocan.
